About

Here’s the blurb to promote my latest album:

Jason Luckett is a singer/songwriter/guitarist based in Los Angeles. Touring the US and Europe, he’s played festivals including South by Southwest (Austin, TX), Glastonbury (UK), and Copenhagen Songwriters (DK). He’s shared the stage or collaborated in the studio with such artists as Tracy Chapman, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, jazz legend Kenny Burrell, plus members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bauhaus. His sixth full-length album, The Second Half of the Bet (Hope Again), moves organically through folk, jazz, rock and world rhythm influences, retaining the strong personality of “groovy acoustic soul.”

You’re here because I also create music for film, TV and theater. Rather than give an extensive bio, I invite you to browse this site and read the stories behind the music as you listen.
